Teamwork Modules
Teamwork is designed to make your work easier, but as with all new tools, there’s a learning curve. Our Teamwork training is designed to be an intro to how we use the system and is here for you to work through at your own pace.
As you dive into your first project, don’t hesitate to continue to reference these resources and ask questions. Everyone at Scribe is here to support you and give you the tools you need to do your best work.
Work through these training modules all in one go, or work through a few, then come back and choose below to pick up where you left off.
Step 1: The first step is to open Dashboard – BIAB and click the gear icon to open your Dashboard Settings
Step 2: Choose to view only your own tasks & milestones.
Step 3: Click
Save Settings
Step 4: To view your tasks that are due today click
Today’s Tasks
Note: if you don’t have any tasks due today this tab is not visible
Step 5: Navigate to the Task List associated with today’s tasks by clicking the Task List name in the gray header.
If you’re working on multiple projects you might have tasks due for more than one project. Scroll down to see additional Task Lists / Tasks.

Step 7: Click Task Complete
Step 8: The number in the gray circle refers to the number of subtasks associated with that task. All subtasks must be complete before the parent task can be checked off.
View subtasks by clicking on the gray circle.
Step 9: Click the Dashboard tab to navigate back to the dashboard
Step 10: Click Upcoming Tasks to view your tasks scheduled for the next 14 days
Step 11: Click the Task List name to preview all upcoming tasks in that list.
Step 12: Click the gray circle to view subtasks.
Step 13: The red “no entry” sign means the task is dependent on another task. The dependent task cannot begin until the previous task is marked complete. Most upcoming tasks will have this restriction until the task becomes active.
Step 14: Hover your mouse over the no entry sign to view the task(s) that must first be completed.
Step 15: Click the Dashboard tab to navigate back to the dashboard
Step 16: In the left sidebar, click the star next to a project name to mark the project as important.
Click Show only starred projects to filter you task views by starred project .
Step 17: You can navigate to a particular project by clicking the link in the lefthand sidebar.
Step 18: Another easy way to toggle between project is to use the
Switch Project tab on the page header.
Step 19: Click
the project you’d like to open. Use the search bar within this view to quickly find a project.
Step 20: Click the Dropdown menu to the right of your avatar to access your profile.
Step 21: Click My Profile
Step 22: Here you can manage your notifications & see all your projects, tasks, time logged, and activity. Whew!

Today’s Tasks
Step 2: To view your tasks in the project task view, Click the Task List
Step 3: The number in the gray circle refers to the number of subtasks that must be completed before the parent task can be marked as complete. Click the gray circle to view subtasks.
Step 4: Click Task Complete to check off the subtask
Step 5: IMPORTANT! The red circle with a line through it means that task cannot begin until another task is complete. Hover over the red circle to see the exact task it’s dependent on Once all subtasks are marked complete you MUST check off the parent task.
Step 6: Checking off a task removes task restrictions for any tasks that are dependent on it.
Step 7: You are now able to check that Task Complete
Step 8: Whenever you’re working on a project, you must log time against the relevant parent task. To start the timer, hover over the clock icon and click Start Timer. The timer appears in the bottom lefthand corner of your screen.
Step 9: Another useful task feature is the Task Reminder. Click the bell icon to set a reminder for an upcoming task.
Step 10: Click

Step 11: Set your reminder preferences and click Add This Reminder
Step 12: Click
Close
Step 13: Task comments is how you communicate with your Publisher about the project. To add a comment click the Task Comments icon.
Step 14: Type your comment.
Step 15: The Publisher is always the default in the “Who should be notified?” section. Click Save Comment
Step 16: That’s it. You’ve mastered tasks!

Step 1: Click the Task Comments icon to the right of the relevant task
Step 2: Type your comment in the appropriate field. The Publisher is the default in the “Who should be notified?” section. If you need to Notify additional people, click the + Add More button.
Step 3: Click Save Comment
Step 4: If your comment concludes the relevant task, check theTask as Complete
Step 5: That’s it. You’re done.

Today’s Tasks
Step 2: Click the relevant task you’d like to log time against
Step 3: Click
Start Timer
Step 4: This timer will run in the background of Teamwork until you stop it. Once your work for this task is complete click Log Time.
Step 5: Click OK
Step 6: Type any additional information about your time log in the Description
Step 7: If you dig efficiency, you can also choose to mark the task as complete when you log your time.
Step 8: Click Save Time Log
Step 9: If you forget to log time against a task you can enter it manually. Hover over the timer icon to the right of the relevant task and click Log More Time. (If no time has been logged against a task this button will say “Log Time”)
Step 10: Enter your Start Time
Step 11: Enter your End Time
Step 12: Type any additional information about your time logged in the Description
Step 13: Click
Log this Time
Step 14: That’s it. You’re on your way to getting paid!
