About Omar Ritter
Omar Ritter is a dynamic storyteller and accomplished author known for bringing the theme of resilience to life. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from West Point. Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources. As a light reconnaissance scout, Omar led his soldiers through mental and physical stress during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003, earning him the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Action Badge, and Valor Device. After spending over two decades battling PTSD and other mental health issues heightened by the challenges of corporate America, he finally received help. Now, he is passionate about combating the stigma surrounding mental health and actively engages in speaking events to raise awareness on the topic.
