Dave Jarecki

A writer, interviewer, and storyteller, Dave Jarecki has provided writing and editorial support to global brands, nonprofits, founders, and authors since 1999, contributing to more than thirty published titles as a ghostwriter and developmental editor in that time.

Along with Dr. Chris Meek, Jarecki co-authored Keeping Our Nation’s Promise: 9/11 and the Stories that Still Shape Us, published in 2026. The book captures 38 profiles from across a range of voices, including military leaders, first responders, artists, public figures, and many others whose lives were directly shaped by the 9/11 terrorist attacks. As lead interviewer and writer on the project, Jarecki brought a unique narrative lens to the work, shaped by years of listening, structuring, and crafting complex human stories with care.

In addition to ghostwriting and developmental editing, Jarecki has worked extensively in brand storytelling, and has taught hundreds of writers in creative writing workshops, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. His poetry has been published in a number of literary journals, including Rattle Magazine, Willow Springs, Reed Magazine, and Denver Quarterly (forthcoming, fall 2026), as well as others.
