Alan Pentz is the author of Winning the Long Competition: The Key to the Next American Century, which examines how the United States can meet the economic and technological challenge posed by China. He is the founder and CEO of Corner Alliance, a consulting firm that supports government innovation and research, where his work has included helping establish the FirstNet public safety network and expanding broadband access in rural communities. Earlier in his career, he served as a speechwriter for Senator Max Baucus.
