– I'm a 28 year old humanitarian veteran and military veteran, I hold 4 passports and consider myself a citizen of earth. I value the harsh realities of life, not the unfortunate burnt morning toast. I engage with the real life drama, the killings in Myanmar, the kids being kidnapped daily in Africa and the wars that go on in the world. The heroes in everyday humanitarian and military that go unnoticed. I want to share my team exploits in South sudan and how to deal with it. 28 year old who has lived 27 years trying to prove that he mattered to the one person who was biologically meant to love and care for, his mother. Yet to realise that this person was fake and not real – how to move forward from that and use the past experiences to teach others to do the same.
My team and I survived 3 ambushes in 2018-2019, one very severe one where I learnt that one white life unfortunately matters a lot more then 18 other. With nothing but the ICRC flag to defend outselves against 50+ rebels, 6 AK47 in the back of the head and told to take a knee, how I stayed composed and didn’t follow instructions and yet got out alive with everyone else more or less saved. Sustained a few injuries but considered simple battle scars.
The only goal to tick off 100 countries by 30 yet to have covid19 stop it. Currently 84 at 28.
Have managed to work with leading organisations in their field with no educational (university/tafe) degrees.
