Andrea Wilson Woods is a keynote speaker, writer, and patient advocate. She founded the nonprofit Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association after losing her fifteen-year-old sister, Adrienne, to liver cancer, the story she tells in her award-winning memoir Better Off Bald: A Life in 147 Days. She holds a master's degree in professional writing from the University of Southern California.
