Aside from the thrill of riding waves, he is inspired daily by the healing solace that the ocean provides. For over 10 years, Mike led various surf programs in Bali. His patience and ability to articulate instructions in a concise, yet fun manner, makes for an epic surf experience.

Mike has found his life's purpose through the creation of Further Retreats. Further's mission is to nurture, inspire and support the personal development of individuals who seek to LIVE. As a former professional free-surfer, Mike has dedicated his life to refining his skills, knowledge and understanding of the ocean. Through his early 20s Mike traveled the globe, surfing big waves in cold water locations and gaining exposure for the brand he formerly represented. It is these vast lifelong experiences that he has leaned on to ensure Further is the unique and innovative company it is today.
