Michelle Sun is the founder of First Code Academy, a coding and STEM education institute for children ages four to eighteen. Born and raised in Hong Kong and a graduate of the University of Chicago, she began her career at Goldman Sachs before holding technical roles at high-growth startups in Silicon Valley, including Buffer and Bump Technologies. She is a certified Master Trainer for coding education by MIT and has been recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list and the BBC 100 Women list. She is the author of First Time Coders: A Definitive Guide to Coding for Children.
