Roy Tomizawa

Roy Tomizawa is a leadership and talent development consultant and a sports journalist. Over his career he has held senior organizational and talent roles at companies including Microsoft, DBS Bank, and Nikko Asset Management Group, and he has worked as a journalist, including for The New York Times. He has written more than 1,200 articles for his blog The Olympians, and Japan commissioned him to write The Olympians, 1964-2020, chronicling Olympic history from the 1964 Tokyo Games to the 2020 Games. In 1964: The Greatest Year in the History of Japan, he chronicles how Japan rose from the rubble of war to embark on one of the greatest economic transformations of the twentieth century.
