About Suzanne
Suzanne DeMallie is an author, speaker, and education advocate whose career has spanned work as a CPA, teacher, and non-profit director. Research into her own son's learning difficulties led her to author a classroom auditory learning resolution that the National PTA adopted in 2007, the same year she received the organization's Life Achievement Award. She went on to teach elementary math in the Baltimore County Public Schools before becoming a national voice for education reform and a university lecturer. She is the author of Can You Hear Me Now?, which examines the policies and practices that leave many children behind in public education.
