Holly Gorman

Holly thinks the best moment in editing a manuscript is when she figures out how that one weird piece fits in and the whole project clicks. She especially loves working with big, messy manuscripts and helping authors give their ideas more structure. In addition to editing, she also copyedits, proofreads, and is an expert in all things citations. She has worked with Scribe since 2019.

Before joining Scribe, Holly spent her time in the classroom, where she taught university-level composition courses. She earned a doctorate in comparative religion in 2015; her research focused on popular media portrayals of Muslim and Mormon women.
