About This Book

In 2010, fewer than fifty people in the world had diagnosed ADSLD. Natalie Watson’s sons were two of them. Bigger Than My Body is Natalie’s unforgettable story of mothering children with an incurable, life-limiting disease that robbed them of the life she longed for them to enjoy. From the isolation of raising children with complex health issues to fighting like hell to give them a future, Natalie shares her sons’ legacy. Her sons didn’t survive. Neither did her marriage. But Natalie’s experience of coming out the other side of grief redefined her life purpose and evoked a profound spiritual awakening. Bigger Than My Body is more than a brave, honest account of every parent’s worst nightmare. It holds a message for everyone stuck in desperation and drowning in despair: Take heart. You’ll be OK. You too can process grief in your own way and learn to love life again.

Here is some copy from my website we can re work for the back cover.

Natalie Watson is the founder of Back to Life Studio. Established in 2017 Back to Life studio is a Pilates based movement therapy studio in regional Victoria, Australia.

When Natalie’s two sons were born with a rare metabolic disease, resulting in multiple disabilities, she spent many years working closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists as part of an early childhood intervention team, to help her boys find a better quality of life. Her search for answers led her on a journey of research and self discovery that helped her realised she had a deep passion for helping others heal and transcend their lives.

Practicing Pilates herself since 2012 – following injuries sustained from trail running and running marathons both across Australia and internationally – she wanted to combine her love of helping others with her love of wellness. After experiencing firsthand the benefits of a personalised Pilates program as part of her own self care routine, she knew that helping others through Pilates as movement therapy was what she was put on this earth to do.
And so, Back to Life Studio was born!

Natalie is a certified Allied Health Assistant, Pilates Instructor, Health Coach, and neurofeedback Provider. With a firm belief in the importance of self care, she has made it her personal mission to help her clients to develop their own wellness practices. Through a combination of her tailored approaches, and years of experience, she encourages the people that she works with to develop effective self-nurturing techniques for mind, brain, body, and soul that are aligned with their own unique goals and values.

I've scheduled a photographer for early July.
