Hooman Azmi, MD, FAANS, is the director of the Division of Functional and Restorative Neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. A board-certified neurosurgeon, he has authored numerous articles on Parkinson's disease and lectured extensively on the subject. Over the past decade he has developed innovative protocols and programs to improve the care of patients with Parkinson's disease, especially when they are admitted to the hospital.
