George Pillari is a crisis manager who has advised more than 100 companies, serving as a source of truth for their boards, investors, and lenders. As an undergraduate at The Johns Hopkins University, he co-founded a company with two professors that grew to more than 1,000 employees, went public on the NASDAQ, and is now part of IBM's Watson artificial intelligence business. Named an EY Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year, he spent years identifying the errors in judgment and flawed decision-making models that consistently appear in failing businesses and organized them into the seven deadly stupidities. He holds a B.S. in mathematical sciences from the Whiting School of Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University, has appeared on CNN, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.
