About Chris
Chris Duffin is the co-founder and chief engineer at Kabuki Strength, an organization devoted to optimizing human performance through strength. Known as "The Mad Scientist of Strength," he was ranked number one in the world across several powerlifting disciplines for eight consecutive years and holds a Guinness World Record for a three-repetition, 1,000-pound deadlift. Before his career in strength, he worked as a corporate executive turning around manufacturing operations in the automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, and high-tech industries. In his memoir, The Eagle and the Dragon: A Story of Strength and Reinvention, he tells the story of his unconventional life and his rise from a childhood deep in the Pacific Northwest wilderness.
