Joe Mechlinski

Joe Mechlinski is a New York Times bestselling author, speaker, and social entrepreneur who believes that an engaged workforce is the key to unlocking human potential. He grew up in East Baltimore and went on to Johns Hopkins University, launching his first business at nineteen. In 2001 he co-founded entreQuest, a management consulting firm that rebranded as SHIFT in 2018. He is the author of Grow Regardless and Shift the Work and has delivered a widely watched TEDx talk on the future of work. He has invested in more than twenty socially conscious startups and donated over one million dollars to Baltimore initiatives, co-founding the b4students Foundation to improve high school graduation rates.
