Laura Calandrella

Laura Calandrella is a leadership strategist and consultant and the author of Our Next Evolution: Transforming Collaborative Leadership to Shape Our Planet's Future. For two decades she has worked with organizations across the environmental community to design collaborative approaches to pressing issues. She began her career as a conservation biologist and international development practitioner, experiences that gave her firsthand knowledge of the power of collaboration. Today she guides the growth of sustainability and conservation partnerships, teaching the practices of collaborative leadership. Her book offers a framework for twenty-first-century collaboration built on four leadership practices: cultivating presence, creating space, leveraging diversity, and sustaining dialogue.
