Christopher Glatis

Christopher is a filmmaker and life-long personal growth enthusiast who was first inspired by his experiences with severe familial mental illness. These traumatic seeds fueled his gripping bouts of anxiety and panic.

When Christopher was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder soon after entering college, he saw it as a weakness and failure. Motivated by these insecurities and curiosities, he began learning voraciously all he could about how humans heal. Over time, what was once considered his weakness ultimately became a vital asset, his greatest teacher.

Over the years, he’s tried countless methods, modalities, and practices to ease his pain and suffering – from silent meditation retreats with monks on mountain tops, traditional American Indian sweat lodges to psychedelic therapy. He’s worked with therapists, men’s groups, yogis, empaths, Western and Vedic astrologers, and tantrikas.

These approaches provided benefits and some relief but what became clear is that the complexities and overwhelm often associated with perpetual relief-seeking only exacerbated his anxiety.

Eventually, he discovered there was a common thread connecting all the different approaches. The handful of most potent practices and lifestyle adjustments were quite common - simple at their essence, yet deeply profound in their impact.

Through Buddhist meditation and his fascination with human psychology, Christopher hopes to help those who battle with their minds in endless dysfunctional dynamics that ultimately drain the spirit from our lives.

Christopher’s creative projects often explore characters who, despite deep psycho-spiritual struggles and flawed perceptions, ultimately rise from the ashes and are redeemed. Their stories invite the viewer to take a deep dive into the darkness that lies within us all. And eventually, show them that they too can grow and excel against any internal barriers holding them back.

Currently, Christopher has turned the microscope on himself by telling his own intimate story. Finally, he is the protagonist. He is excited to share his discoveries, straightforward advice, meditations, and the steps he took to ease his anxieties and find joy, peace, and confidence.
