Mark Cawley is a hit songwriter, author, and musician whose songs have appeared on more than 16 million records. He has written songs recorded by artists including Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Wynonna Judd, Kathy Mattea, Paul Carrack, and the Spice Girls, spanning pop, country, R&B, and jazz. Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, he has lived in Nashville, Tennessee for roughly three decades, where he also coaches songwriters around the world through his service iDoCoach. He is the author of Song Journey: A Hit Songwriter's Guide Through the Process, the Perils, and the Payoff of Writing Songs for a Living.
